Driveways

I can lay driveways in block paving, plastic honeycombing, concrete, or chippings. I do NOT do tarmac. New planning laws mean that drives have to be permeable if they drain to a public highway, requiring planning permission. If they drain onto your own land, then it should be okay, but it's worth a phone call.

The manufacurers of block paving have devised systems to meet the new requirements. Non permeable drives would need gulley drains.

Chippings and fancy gravels can be used but can migrate on anything but level ground. Plastic, or concrete honeycomb systems are an option where the client wants the look of grass with a hard substrate.

Below are a few photographs showing examples of our work.
